This is the last leg of our ‘Paradise of Exiles’ poetry course run through the British Institute of Florence – on the matter of the huge influence of Italian poetry on our great English poets: Wyatt; Christina Rossetti; Robert Barrett-Browning; Shelley . Dante was scheduled for a single session : we have run to three- his favourite number.. It will be hell to leave… thank you to all the amazing participants … who have taught me so much…there is always another realm around the corner…and we are looking forward to Fabio Barry giving us his lecture on the whole Divine Comedy next week.
